The Survey Readiness Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all regulatory compliance functions to ensure and foster a culture of survey readiness and adherence to all regulatory and accreditation standards for all MCMC departments, units, entities, clinics, etc. This includes planning and conducting annual mock surveys, tracers and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing survey readiness.
The Survey Readiness program has been recently developed, includes a documented program plan, and is supported by a Survey Readiness Steering Committee whose membership participates in the responsibilities of the program. This committee reports to the Board Quality and Safety Committee and is supported by the Board of Trustees and Executive Leadership. Coordinating the Survey Readiness program at MCMC is enhanced by new software to track compliance with all the major accrediting organizations. This software has the ability to not only track by the standard but we can also develop tracer audits that contain a mechanism to assign action plans and track results. All tracked information can also be displayed in graphs on the dashboard feature.
