The UI/UX Designer is mission critical to helping create (strategy, research, design, innovation, implement, maintain, optimize) a UI/UX practice for the CHRISTUS Associate Experience. This is a role that will challenge you to push the organization's thinking in new and user-centric ways.

A capacity for advocating on behalf of our Associates is an absolute must as this role will directly impact the way CHRISTUS Associates access and experience all HR Technology products and features.
Keeping up to date with the latest visual design, UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies is also crucial to the success of this role.
Work closely with a team of Product Managers and Designers (UI/UX) to create an intuitive, cohesive and seamless user experience across all products.
Collaborate with Product Management to influence product strategy and roadmap.
Create inspiring, strategic, and innovative ideas for our product experience across the entire product lifecycle/ multiple launches
Collaborate with product owners to generate new product ideas and prioritize usability improvements, then work with developers to implement them
Create and direct user interface design, architecture and functionality according to usability best practices, standards-compliant design and most importantly, user tested data
Come up with creative and innovative solutions achieved within timeline and scope.
Contribute to the development of the creative team's culture and quality standards.
Contribute to and help manage team assets, such as pattern libraries and style guides
Present and effectively communicate the conceptual vision and foster ideas to help spread storytelling techniques to inspire the team.
Collaborate effectively with researchers, product management, development, marketing, and other team members
Ability to take ownership and lead an initiative, including long-term product vision.
Hands-on development of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Researching analytics and user centric data to drive UX changes and enhancements
Implementation and monitoring of A/B testing to achieve data driven goals
Developing rich UI designs for multiple websites
Designing pixel perfect mockups
Articulating designs to development through redlining, interactive guides or other resource materials
Masters/Bachelors Degree in user interface design, HCI, interaction design, visual communication/graphic design or related field preferred. May be substituted with significant industry experience and accomplishments.
A track record of success communicating and driving a design vision.
Expertise in defining and implementing user experience guidelines; demonstrated experience with industry/platform standards.
Project management experience; experience with various design methodologies and processes including Agile development.
Some experience with Design Thinking methods and approaches preferred.
Strong online portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing great user-centered experiences and applications.
Fluency using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Sketch
Demonstrated visual design expertise; capacity for creating engaging and usable designs and layouts with a propensity towards simplification
Nimbleness; the ability to turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups quickly in
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the graphic design/ interactive media design field
3+ years of UI/UX Design and brand management experience
4+ years' experience in product, web, mobile, and interaction design
Experience with wireframe, workflow and information architecture design
Experience conducting user research and analysis
Experience crafting A/B testing strategies and implementing analytics funnel
Experience in conceptual development and rapid creative prototyping as well as tactical UI design and implementation.
Experience collaborating with senior executives to understand business objectives; ability to present design goals, process and vision to senior leadership.
