The Financial Analyst will generate standard and custom financial and demographic reports. They will verify data and maintain accurate system information.
Analyze financial reports (Tax Returns, W-2s, etc.) and raw data to develop detailed proformas/budgets that accurately project financial impact of business decisions.
Regular and ad-hoc reporting of statistical and revenue financial information
Track and review quarterly physician compensation data and calculate bonus reconciliations
Participation in weekly business development meetings and provide updates on ongoing projects
Prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines for completion
Trend identification and impact analysis
Discreet handling of confidential information
Any other duties as assigned
Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field required
At least 1-3 years of experience working as a financial, budget or business analyst required
Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in excel (Pivot tables, conditional statements, and v-lookups required.)
Prior knowledge of industry benchmarking data (MGMA, AMGA, etc.) and CMS physician coding/billing/wRVU guidelines is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to understand internal and external financial reports to develop meaningful analysis for leadership
Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group of business professionals at all levels of the organization including management, physicians, operations, and business development.
Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines effectively is a must
