Department:Geisinger Health Plan -Customer Service Support Team

Assists in the configuration and management of specified programs, products and services. Responsible for assisting in the ongoing configuration, management and oversight of consumer driven products including health reimbursement arrangements, health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts. Helps ensure continued operational functionality and accuracy of the supplemental accounts that will in turn lead to membership retention and growth.
Represents the customer service team at on site events at employer groups and open enrollment meetings for new and existing groups. Works in conjunction with the Health Plans sales team to provide training to employer groups and providers on the use and benefits of the Service Center. Analyzes CSI data to identify and target high volume employer groups and providers who would benefit from use of the Service Center.
Further responsibilities include the management of the Accessories discount program. Research and recruit additional discount opportunities, communicate with discount vendors on a regular basis, develop and provide education to both external and internal audiences regarding available discounts.
Reports directly to the System Configuration Manager responsible for consumer driven products on the Customer Service Support Team.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Programming, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or similar field.
Minimum of two years Health Plan experience required.
Associate’s degree required, preferably in Computer Programming, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or similar field.
Minimum of four years Health Plan experience required
Minimum of 8 years health plan/insurance related experience required.
Experience in product management, configuration, vendor relations and/or consumer driven health care accounts preferred.

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel to Health Plan offices, broker offices and employer groups may be required.
