Be a part of an innovative End User Computing (EUC) team focused on new solutions, maximizing the end user experience and supporting products, solutions and projects within EUC. The Technical Analyst will work with technologies an Vendors such as VMware, Microsoft, HP, Hardware & Peripherals, Print and User Experience Monitoring.
Works under the supervision of the Director, Program Director or management designate.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Development and maintenance of EUC hardware standards and full lifecycle management of EUC Supported Hardware (Printers, Laptops, Desktops, Mobile Devices and Peripherals)
2.Provide problem resolution utilizing the ITSM system appropriately on a wide variety of EUC Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues. Dependent on the situation Technical Analyst may be required to perform Root Cause Analyst or assist with a SWARM team.
3.Responsible for the support, maintenance and full lifecycle management of applications used within EUC.
4.Management and support of the Printer Hardware Fleet throughout the lifecycle of the fleet, including oversight and support of the Managed Print Services (MPS) Program and associated software and projects.
5.Build, configure, test, and deploy technical solutions to improve EUC operations, the user experience, enhance workflows and support other Geisinger initiatives.
6.Works with other IT teams to ensure a coordinated effort with new technology roll outs, upgrades, or changes that impact End User Computing.
7.Creates and maintains design, delivery and operational documentation for EUC Solutions.
8.Assist customers in understanding and utilizing the full capabilities Geisinger’s EUC solutions and collaborate on integrating EUC solutions into daily workflows.
9.Make recommendations for service improvement plans within the EUC Solution Services portfolio and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner
10. Be an ambassador for IT, working across the business to provide effective communication on EUC Solution Services matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments
11. Be accountable for quality of Service and systems performance of solutions within this portfolio.
12. Researches and evaluates emerging technology, industry and market trends. Provides recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing and deployment.
13. Performs any other assigned duties necessitated by business, regulatory, or emergency situations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; or technical diploma / technical certification in a field related to the position required. Minimum of six years of full-time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
In lieu of degree or certification, minimum of nine years of full-time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Potential candidate must have the ability to move PCs and peripheral equipment that may exceed 50lbs.
