Witt/Kieffer is pleased to a partner with Memphis, TN based Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in the recruitment for their next President. The organization seeks a dynamic, transformational, mission-orientated leader with a passion for pediatric healthcare.
Part of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare (MLH), Le Bonheur is a nationally recognized, 255-bed, not for profit, Level I pediatric trauma center. Offering a complete range of healthcare services for children from birth to 21 years, Le Bonheur is one of Memphis' and the region's most vitally important healthcare providers. With an academic affiliation to the University of Tennessee and a strong collaborative relationship with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Le Bonheur generates annual net patient revenues of approximately $400 million and has an endowment of $36 million, with an aggressive fundraising strategy to grow the endowment to $100 million in the next decade.
The President will be an inspiring, visible and visionary leader who will engage the collective talents and energies of the leadership team, staff and physicians, and in collaboration with MLH leadership, will lead Le Bonheur forward in an innovative manner. The President will steer the organization in the maintenance of the Power of One culture, which has, at its core, the highest level of commitment to, and pride in: patient-centered care, quality outcomes, innovative research, patient satisfaction, employee engagement, employee satisfaction, service excellence, operational discipline, financial stewardship and accountability. In partnership with the Le Bonheur Leadership Team and MLH Leadership Team, the President will advance the robust strategy, vision and plan to further position Le Bonheur as the regional pediatric provider of choice.
The President will be a strong advocate for the academic, employed and community physicians, and develop a strong partnership with the Chair of Pediatrics and the Dean and the Vice Chancellor at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. S/he will advocate for Le Bonheur in the community and build strong relationships with community leaders in support of the philanthropic mission, serving as the face of Le Bonheur throughout Memphis, the state, the region, and nationally in the Children's Hospital Association.
