Providence is calling a Registered Nurse to the St. Vincent Internal Medicine Clinic in the Beaverton area in Portland, Oregon.
This Internal Medicine teaching clinic offers a rewarding work environment with a positive culture and great staff. This is an ideal position for an RN with some previous outpatient clinic experience and strong communication skills.
An average day in this role includes phone triage, health coaching via nurse visits, assisting with annual wellness visits, and leading the safety committee for the clinic. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm with an hour lunch.
In this position, you will:
Be accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient.
Coordinate patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship.
Be responsible for the assessment, treatment or care of child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Licensed or licensureeligible to practice nursing in the state of Oregon
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year of medical/surgical, pediatric, emergency room or urgent care experience
