The Sterile Processing Manager manages the daily operations of the central sterile supply unit.
Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Collects and reports on data concerning instrument distribution, loss and replacement.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. May perform and oversee processes such as scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagement.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Ability to lead and direct subordinates engaged in cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing patient care equipment and supplies.

Certified Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Finger Printing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
Associates degree required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
One to three years of supervisory experience required.
