This position is located at the Zuni Service Unit (ZSU), Zuni, New Mexico, Division of Clinical Services, Department of Optometry, and reports to the Chief of Optometry. The purpose of this position is to provide direct and comprehensive primary, preventive and therapeutic medical optometric care to individuals across the spectrum of age and development within a high-risk population in a responsible, respective and caring manner. Incumbent functions independently performing the full range of professional optometric physician duties by examining, diagnosing, treating diseases and disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures.
