A member of the esteemed Trinity Health network, Mercy Health Saint Mary’s is seeking a Master’s-prepared nurse with five or more years of experience in an acute care setting to take charge, affect change and support our ongoing journey for excellence. The Clinical Service Director - Behavioral Health Services position has been created to give the right person the best opportunity to model and lead nurses and to create productive collegial relationships with our medical staff partners and community-based mental health agencies to achieve results through excellent management, to exemplify a highly engaged persona, and to tirelessly seek excellence in clinical practice and the work environment. The successful candidate will provide leadership towards operationalizing the strategic plan and driving an outstanding and dynamic clinical practice environment, including maintenance of our Magnet designation. This role is new to the organization and will oversee a 28-bed Psychiatric Unit and Psychiatric providers, as well as work with our Primary Care network with a vision towards integration of Behavioral Health into the care delivery practices across the continuum. Doctoral degree and national certification in a Behavioral Health specialty preferred.
