Inpatient Medicine Oncology Adult Clinical Pharmacist

The Oncology Pharmacy is responsible for all chemotherapy medication services to all Oncology patients. The clinical pharmacist is responsible for order origination, double checking orders, clinically referencing lab values for appropriate dosing of chemo and non-chemo drugs for standard of care therapy, communication and therapy coordination for oncology patients, including being a liaison and educator to the oncology staffing pharmacists. Clinical pharmacists will be committee members for various multidisciplinary workgroups. Additionally, the clinical pharmacist will precept P4 students, PGY-1 residents and PGY-2 Oncology residents. This position is dedicated to patients actively being treated in the inpatient setting.
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or the equivalent.
Pharmacist licensure in the state of Tennessean(or eligible)
Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent
PGY2 training in Oncology
Experience working in an academic medical center
Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy
Position Shift: 8-hour shifts; Rotating weekend and Holiday coverage
