Lions VisionGift (LVG) is a local eye bank that recovers, evaluates, and distributes eye tissue donated by caring individuals for use in cornea transplantation, research, and education. LVG is a non-profit organization accredited and certified by the Eye Bank Association of America, the FDA, the State of Oregon, and the State of Massachusetts. Through the generosity of brave donors and their families, LVG provides safe and effective cornea grafts for sight restoring surgeries throughout the state and across the nation.

Lions VisionGift currently has an opening for a Processing Technician II position in our Boston, MA location. This position, under supervision of our Regional Manager, will be responsible for ensuring that daily tasks related to tissue processing are completed with accompanying documentation. This is an FLSA non-exempt position.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
•Processing DMEK, DSAEK, and other tissue; •Performing specular microscopy and routine evaluation of tissue with accompanying documentation; •Packaging tissue for transport; •Sterilizing and maintaining equipment; •Additional duties as assigned.
