We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Clinical Director out of our Virginia Beach office. In cooperation with the Regional Director, the Clinical Director is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all clinical programming.
• Coordinates with the referring agent, the treatment team, and the client/family to supervise and monitor the treatment goals and objectives for all FPS cases.
• In collaboration with the Regional Director, investigates and mediates complaints and/or concerns between staff and client/families, staff and referring agents, and collateral sources.
• Develops and facilitates staff training and in-service programs to maintain contract and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in all assigned administrative, supervisory, staff and team meetings; participates in scheduled in-service training and staff development activities.
• Participates in developing and monitoring programs, policies, procedures and practices in keeping with FPS and community standards, as well as with Contract and Licensure requirements.
• Maintains positive community, customer, and client relations; presents information on FPS services as required.
• Recruits, screens, trains, supervises, and evaluates clinical staff in conjunction with any Clinical Coordinators and the Regional Director.
• Maintains accurate supervisory and administrative records as required; submits all reports in a timely fashion.
• Provides direct services to clients and families as appropriate or assigned.
• Conducts clinical assessments on children and families, and prepares assessment report in timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Licensed and in good standing with the Board of Counseling. A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a human services related field with a minimum of five years post- Master’s clinical experience and eligibility to become licensed is required.
