SCL Health is building a Center of Excellence around advanced analytics and is looking for an Analytics Architect. This role will be responsible for building the data as a service and presentation layers from the data lake and other sources and creating a strategy on how to bring these capabilities to the enterprise. This role will interface with the business and help scope gaps in analytic capabilities and formulate a plan on how to address those at the enterprise level. This role will also be responsible for creating and maintain a catalog of analytic capabilities and educating key constituents on those capabilities. ï¿½ Build an analytics center of excellence across a multi-hospital and ambulatory system.
ï¿½ The analytics architect leverages knowledge of the organizationï¿½s information, application, and infrastructure environment as well as the current technology landscape to design a holistic and optimized analytics platform.
ï¿½ Work with system architecture and interface to access data for analysis.
ï¿½ Work with the data lake team to identify data lake data and reporting team to surface analytics
ï¿½ Promote data analytics to other departments, coordinate business intelligence needs.
ï¿½ Delivery of scheduled data analysis: Research and analysis identifying trends, uncovering opportunity. Perform statistical analysis as needed
ï¿½ Foster other data analysts around the organization: Present regular user group forums where analytics skills are taught.
ï¿½ Manage data dissemination organization wide through an enterprise server (Tableau Server). Including multi-site and user role administration.
ï¿½ Present data visualizations and dashboards at varying levels of detail to a variety of audiences
ï¿½ Develop ad-hoc research methodologies, and analysis projects
ï¿½ Work with Clinical Business Intelligence team to scope targeted projects.
ï¿½ Support Data Governance throughout the organization
Minimum Required :
Bachelor Degree ; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, or Statistics - will also take other majors with experience in Healthcare analytics
Masters Degree; Master's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, or Statistics - will also take other majors with experience in Healthcare analytics
Minimum Required :
More than 10 Years; SQL, SAS, or other structured relational database toolsets.
More than 10 years; Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, and Spark.

Minimum Required :
ï¿½ Healthcare data industry experience ï¿½ prefer both clinical (acute and ambulatory) and revenue cycle data familiarity.
ï¿½ Knowledge of national healthcare data set resources, and health data standards.
ï¿½ Ability to write project requirements, specifications. Ability to create process and data models.
ï¿½ Strong analytics tools skills such as: Excel, Tableau, Alteryx and SAS.
ï¿½ Knowledge of data visualization standards and methodologies, and data reporting.
ï¿½ Relational database and SQL query experience, including data wrangling (cleaning, blending).
ï¿½ Familiarity with non-relational database, ï¿½big dataï¿½ evolving data processes ï¿½ such as Hadoop, HDFS.
ï¿½ Strong communication skills. Ability to conduct meetings and other define tasks.
ï¿½ Possesses a working knowledge of statistics, programming and predictive modeling.
ï¿½ Has strong critical thinking skills and the ability to relate them to the healthcare challenges facing SCL Health
